Sunmi is a fermentation artist and storyteller whose work explores the intersections of food, memory, and cultural inheritance. Her work celebrates and reimagines African fermented foods for a contemporary and interconnected world, where teff, tamarind, hibiscus, and other ancestral ingredients become both medium and message.
Dureeti is an anti-disciplinary artist and memory archivist who aims to amplify Oromo voices, archive oral histories and create portals to alternative futures. Her hope is to illuminate the beauty of the present through curious and courageous conversations.
