In the legacy of cultural worker and writer Toni Cade Bambara (TCB), this is an interactive series of film screenings from the African diaspora with a focus on stories that represent intersectional Black experiences of queer, women, disabled, and non-American people.
We are recreating the intimate living room gatherings TCB held in her home where new worlds and ideas with new people were possible. This space is curated by B. Wilson and Yordi Solomone with the support of TDM5 Collective, Mia Dream, Shay Andrewin, and Jeremiah Bey.
